Most series' web sites have either descriptions of the shows or trailers that give you a pretty good idea of the content. From those listed on this site, I'd say Out with Dad was the most suitable for your niece's age group; the central character is 15 and a normal 15 rather than a TV 15 where the character is played by someone in their late 20s. Anyone But Me is about older teenagers and does include sex but nothing you wouldn't see on TV. BJ Fletcher and Cowgirl Up are two examples of adult shows with mostly PG content. I've not seen any of these series, but am definitely interested in sharing them with my niece. She's recently come out (at age 13, now 14) and I want to share with her more representations of lesbian lives. On that point, are you aware if any of these series have ratings?
